Owner and Creative Director

For the past 10 years, Summer has been planning and designing full-service high production weddings & events as the owner of our sister brand – Orange Door Weddings. With a 25 year career in the hospitality industry, there’s little she hasn’t yet experienced or navigated. Her depth of experience beyond event planning includes bridal fashion, styling, food & beverage management, venue logistics, project management and now event rentals!

She’s passionate about industry education – she’s a frequent speaker at UWL classrooms, attends conferences and continued education certifications and never stops refining her skills.

She believes life is meant to be lived and when not working, she’s traveling with her family – they love to experience new places, culture, food, art, and adventures. Her happy place is at hot yoga or reading on the screened porch, low-fi spa music playing, and being surrounded by animals and nature.

Owner

Justin is a California native born with a passion for adventure, travel, and entrepreneurship. He wears many hats – In addition to working hand-in-hand with his wife, Summer, and the crew of Orange Door Event Rentals, Justin runs his custom electronics and technology company The Audio Video Pros, as well the new lighting and design showroom Lumen Collective.

He is an active member within his community and a strong advocate for supporting the growth and development of local businesses. He has a true giving nature and wants to see everyone he meets succeed and find their light in life.

When he’s not running multiple businesses or coming up with new ventures on the horizon, he loves to spend time with his family, travel the world and make the most of every day of life through helping others and finding joy.

Warehouse Manager

Sam is a La Crosse native with an eye for logistics and an energy level that never stops – He’s never afraid to jump right into a new challenge or task and thrives in the constant movement of the events industry.

For the past two years Sam has been working behind the scenes in the event production side of Orange Door Weddings. He’s a master at making sure things get to where they need to be efficiently but always with quality.

When Sam is not moving from one location to another, he enjoys riding his new motorcycle. He’s a true rockstar at Orange Door Event Rentals, and he cannot wait to make your event day run as smoothly as possible!
